Traylor, who shares a first name with her mother’s maiden name, is a graduate of Lake Highland Preparatory School located in Orlando, Florida. Afterward, she proceeded to Florida State University, where she earned a Bachelor of arts degree in Communications and Advertising.

She was a regular on the show, starring in 32 episodes from 1996 to 1997.

The role gave her the impetus to secure more acting jobs, as the film and TV actress subsequently landed the role of Anne Henning in the movie Confessions of a Sexiest Pig; she also portrayed Kathy in the comedy film, Dirty Work, both in 1998. After featuring in Two Guys and a Girl (initially titled Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place) from 1998 to 2001, Traylor Howard scored minor roles of Lisa Sherborne in The West Wing, Ashley Tiverton in First Monday, and Sarah Franzen in The Division. She additionally appeared as Alice O’Connor in eight episodes of Bram and Alice.

However, Traylor’s second marriage was short-lived as her husband, Christian filed for divorce in Los Angeles on March 15th, 2005 citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and the divorce was finalized the next year.
