She also grew up in the city where she was born, and before starting her acting career, she obtained a degree in petrochemical engineering from Rivers State University of Science and Technology. She Began Her Acting Career at the Age of 25

Tonto Dikeh has always been interested in acting while growing up. From a very tender age, she already made up her mind that she was going to build a successful career as an actress, and she went all out working hard to achieve success. To properly launch her acting career, she was a contestant in the reality television series- The Next Movie star (2005), which centers around discovering new talents in the acting profession. They christened the baby Andre Omodayo Churchill, but her pet name for the young lad is Baby X. Tonto and Churchill have since gone their separate ways after much public drama. Their marriage came to a dramatic end in 2017 and Tonto has been single-handedly raising their son.

Tonto Dikeh was born into a family made up of seven children, and she is the third child. Her mother gave birth to five children for her father before she passed on. At the time of her mother’s death, Tonto was just 3 years old. To care for his young children, her father married a second wife who had two more children. In all Tonto has six siblings.

Among her siblings, none is involved in showbiz, thus, they have no public presence. The only ones with a known identity are her brother Charles Dikeh, sisters- Tumshee and Tatiana Dikeh.

Tatiana Dikeh once narrated how she drank hypo in a bid to commit suicide, but somehow, she didn’t die. Tumshee is the one who called out Tonto when the actress ranted on social media about how she struggled to survive as a child. Her Relationship With Her Siblings is Super Strained

Despite coming from a large family, it appears that there is no sibling Tonto is close to. In 2014, on April 10, which is a day dedicated to appreciating siblings, Tonto Dikeh came out to state that she is her own family and none of her siblings are worth being one.

Moreover, Tushmee called out Tonto online for claiming to have lived as a pauper while growing up. According to her, they lived a comfortable life and Tonto was saying all this to seek attention and make them seem like their father was incapable of taking care of his children. Tonto’s biological parents are Sunny and Veronica Dikeh. Unfortunately, she lost her mother when she was only 3 years old and was raised by her father and stepmother.
