Valley View University is a private university that was established in 1979. It has three campus locations at Oyibi (Accra), Kumasi, and Techiman (Sunyani) respectively in the Greater Accra, Ashanti, and Bono East regions of Ghana. It is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system which is the world’s second-largest Christian school system. It forms part of a worldwide system of over 100 tertiary institutions operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Accommodation at Valley View University

There are accommodation options open to students both on and off-campus. Students are at liberty to chose whether to rent accommodation outside the campus or stay in one of the well-built and managed hostels inside the campus.

On-campus Accommodation Options

There are four housing options on campus for students, and they are given on the basis of first-come, first-serve. These consist of 2 male hostels- J.J. Nortey hostel and New Men’s hostel and 2 female hostels known as NAGSDA and Ellen White hostels.

Off-campus Residence

There are several housing options outside the school campus. Students may send applications for space through the Dean for Student Life and Services of Valley View University Administration, at the beginning of each semester. The university will, however, not be liable for debts incurred by students living in these facilities.
