Waka Flocka is an American Rapper who has had a successful career and built a brand for himself but he is known for a number of things that can be harmful to his image.

Ranging from robbery attacks to public fights, his brand has been plagued by the controversies that he has been embroiled in. Notwithstanding, he had a good run in the industry before dropping the mic to focus on his personal life.

Waka Flocka Has Been Involved In A Number of Incidents Involving Gun Violence

In March of 2010, during a concert that Waka Flocka had in Indiana, shots were fired and 8 teenagers were hit by bullets. Luckily, none of the boys were fatally injured. The gangster rapper was arrested in Houston but was only held for two days.

This happened in 2012, the rapper was at Bubble Bath Car Wash in Atlanta when he was approached by an armed man who had demanded that he give him his jewelry. Flocka decided to fend him off which led to a fight breaking out. The gun was fired and a bullet was lodged in the rapper’s right arm, he was safe and suffered no major injuries, and recovered fully a few weeks after.

His Fallout With Long-time Friend Gucci Mane

For most of 2013, Waka Flocka was involved in a long-drawn-out feud with one of his closest friends and mentor, Gucci Mane. The two worked together on Brick Squad Records but on March 15, 2013, it came to light that Flocka had been dropped from the record label. This announcement was made by Gucci Mane and in response to the news, Flocka made an insulting remark to Mane.

Gucci Mane responded and this led to a volley of insults between the two on Twitter. Mane would then claim that his account was hacked, a claim Waka Flocka dismissed as being false. Later in that month, at a radio interview, Flocka stated that he was no longer friends with Gucci Mane and the two of them would never work together again, saying that they were going their separate ways in their careers.

All was quiet between the two until “Ice Cream” a diss track targeted at Mane was released by Waka Flocka in October. In the next month, Flocka, alongside some of his associates, was served with a lawsuit from Gucci Mane, accusing them of fraud, racketeering, and breach of contract.
