Was Chris Burrous Gay?

Even though Chris Burrous never identified as gay while he lived, the report surrounding his cause of death raises questions about his sexuality. Burrous, who passed away on 27th December 2018 at the age of 43, was first found unconscious at Glendale Motel, known as Days Inn.

According to the Glendale Police Department, the famed anchor was discovered by the city’s firefighters in an unresponsive state as he was suffering from a medical emergency. The police were then alerted of the unpleasant situation by an individual who was with Chris Burrous when he passed out and wasn’t possibly breathing.

Based on the report released by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office with regard to his cause of death, it was revealed that the man who contacted the police was Chris Burrous’ Gay partner whom he met on the Grindr app. Prior to his suffering from a medical emergency that has been attributed to an overdose of crystal meth, the pair engaged in robust sexual activity during which the late reporter made use of the drug, which he allegedly inserted into his body on two occasions.

It was also alleged that during their sexual escapade, Chris Burrous gave his partner a syringe full of GHB and a bottle of Gatorade. The meeting wasn’t the first for the two, who had reportedly hooked up on multiple occasions in the past.

It was also stated in the report that Burrous made use of an amyl nitrite inhalant called Poppers, which produces a euphoric effect.
