Jon Jones who was born as Jonathan Dwight Jones to his parents, Arthur and Camille Jones on the 19th of July 1987 has three siblings; an older sister, Carmen who died of brain cancer before the age of 18 and two brothers named Arthur and Chandler Jones.

Widely known as one of Jon Jones’ brothers, Arthur is the older brother to the eminent mixed martial artist. He was born in Rochester, New York, United States on 3rd June 1986. He acquired his basic education from Union-Endicott High School where he actually put his football playing career to a start. During his senior year, he recorded a total of 64 tackles, six sacks and a fumble.

Upon completion of high school, Arthur enrolled at Syracuse University and there, he became a member of the Syracuse Orange football team. While in college, Jon Jones’ brother recorded his first fumble in a match against South Florida Bulls at Raymond James Stadium. He also registered five tackles in the game which eventually becomes a career-high for him in his collegiate playing career.

Following his performance on the field, Arthur was selected to the All-Big East Conference First-team after the 2008 season. Arthur Jones, however, earned his first Super Bowl ring with the franchise during the 2012 season. Two years later, he signed a 5 year deal worth more than $30 million with the Indianapolis Colts. As a result of injury setbacks, Arthur was released by his club in 2017. He eventually signed with the Washington Redskins in November 2017 and after the 2017 season, he ended his playing career professionally.

The second of Jon Jones’ brothers, Chandler Jones was born on 27th February 1990. Just like his elder brother, he attended Union-Endicott High School and also furthered his higher education at Syracuse University. During his time in the university, Chandler registered in his junior year, combined tackles; 57, sacks; 4, passes defended; 4 and forced fumbles; 3. Then in 2011, while playing as a senior, he produced 39 tackles and 4.5 sacks as his performance was hampered by injury.

During the National Football League Draft in 2012, Chandler was picked as the 21st overall in the first round by the New England Patriots.
