Who is Lil’ Meech’s Dad?

The other half of Demetrius Flenory Jr.’s parents that the world knows is Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory Sr., from whom Lil’ Meech coined his own moniker. Lil’ Meech’s father was born on June 21, 1968, in Detroit, Michigan, in the United States of America. His parents were Charles and Lucile Flenory, and he had two siblings – Terry Lee “Southwest Tee” Flenory and Nicole Flenory.

Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory came from humble beginnings, but he had a dream that he would love to live in affluence and be famous later in life. This probably pushed him to get involved in selling drugs at a very tender age. Big Meech and his younger brother, Terry Flenory, would later begin selling cocaine to others on the streets of Detroit in $ 50 bags while they were still in high school in the mid-1980s, and they were named the “50 Boyz” back then.

Over the next decade, Big Meech and his brother, Terry Flenory, would form a drug trafficking and money laundering organization known as the Black Mafia Family (BMF) in Southwest Detroit.

By the early 2000s, the Black Mafia Family had grown into a large cocaine distribution organization that they were operating in about 17 states across the United States in Alabama, Ohio, Tennessee, California, and Georgia, to mention a few. The Flenory brothers were making so much money and living in affluence in town, so much that you would call them the” ballers” of their time. Lil’ Meech’s dad, Big Meech, was actually living his dream, and he had all that he could ever want in his life.

In the early 2000s, Big Meech established a promotion agency and record label for hip-hop music called Black Mafia Entertainment. It was later revealed that he founded the BMF Entertainment label as a front company to launder the money that BMF made from their cocaine distribution business. One of the first artists signed by the label was Bleu Da Vinci, and he released his album, World Is BMF, in 2005.

Unfortunately for the Flenory brothers and around the beginning of 2003, they began to have issues, and a fallout followed. Big Meech’s brother, Terry, had had enough with Big Meech’s excessive partying and lavish lifestyle and was complaining over the phone to some of their family and close friends. Unknown to him, the DEA had wire-tapped his phone numbers and were listening to all his conversations, and over a 5-month period, they had built up a 900-page manuscript as evidence that they used to arrest and sentence the Flenory brothers.

She is believed to still be a practicing Realtor in the city that has been very close to her heart right from her childhood. Latarra has shied away from all media attention since the police and the United States government busted the Black Mafia Family Kingpins. The only social media handle she has is a Twitter account, which is not even really that active.

Lil’ Meech’s father, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, was prosecuted and sentenced to 30 years in prison for running a nationwide cocaine distribution ring alongside his brother Terry Flenory. He is currently serving out his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institute, Sheridan, Oregon, USA.

He is scheduled to be released on May 5, 2028. He could have been released earlier to home detention just like his brother Terry was, but a Federal judge ruled that he had not shown any remorse for his past actions and was still parading himself as a drug kingpin even while in incarceration.

Lil’ Meech’s New Found Fame Has Rubbed Off On His Parents

Not much was known of Big Meech’s son before he began portraying the role of his father in the Black Mafia Family Television series produced by famous rapper and actor Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson for Starz.

The series premiered on September 26, 2021. Lil’ Meech’s father and uncle, Terry “Southwest Tee” Flenory, were already notoriously famous and known throughout the United States of America as kingpins of an extensive drug trafficking and money laundering organization.

It would be easy to say that it was Big Meech’s notorious fame that was promoting his son’s fledgling acting career, as his role in the Black Mafia Family TV series was actually his first-ever acting role. Lil Meech took up this role after 50 Cent could not find the right character to portray Big Meech.

He then decided to send his Lil Meech to acting school to learn enough to play his father’s role. The young man, however, has embraced the opportunity and thanked 50 Cent for the opportunity he has been given, as he sees acting as his calling in life now.
