Lauren Taylor Roberts is the first and oldest adopted child of Sarah Jakes’s children. She is not the biological child of Sarah Jakes, as she was a product of Sarah’s second husband’s marriage to Lori Roberts. She was born on May 21, 1996, somewhere in the United States of America, and she is currently 27 years old.
Lauren, or Ren as she prefers to be called now, has never revealed details about her early childhood, upbringing, or educational background to the press, but she is a Christian – like her father.
Ren Roberts is currently married to Ty Joseph Headlee – an actor and producer who she loves a lot. They got married on April 5, 2022, after dating for about 3 or 4 years. There is no news yet if she is pregnant, but it is something that may be revealed in the nearest possible future.
Ren shares videos and pictures of her life, love, and engagement via her Social Media handles – especially via Instagram, and she seems to be having the best time of her life and trusting God for better things to come.

Teya Hunter Roberts is the second adopted child of Sarah Jakes’s children, and you could call her the hidden diamond in the rough of the family. She was born on February 11, 1998, in the United States of America, and she is currently 25 years old. She seems very close to her biological mother, Lori, and she is the second child of the marriage between Sarah Jakes’s second husband and his ex-wife, Lori Roberts. In fact, she is believed to be the source of inspiration for her biological mother to become a children’s book author.
Teya and her stepmother, Sarah Jakes, also have a very special connection, and she definitely makes her feelings known to her stepdaughter at every opportunity. Sarah has expressed her admiration for the woman her stepdaughter is growing up to become while encouraging her to always look up to God at all times.
The very beautiful Teya has revealed that she suffers from Glossophobia and dreads speaking in public for fear of sounding dumb, incoherent, etc. – that’s a very funny phobia to suffer from when your parents actually make their living from public speaking.

Malachi Jakes (the only child that Sarah Jakes has with the Jakes last name) was the first of Sarah Jakes’s children. She got pregnant when she was just 13 years old and was probably born in the Jakes’ household in Dallas, Texas, or the home of one of the family members of the Jakes. His mother got pregnant at such a tender age, especially being the daughter of a very popular pastor and televangelist, Bishop T.D. Jakes.
The news of her pregnancy rocked Christendom in America and especially the Jakes household, and it was almost treated as a scandal. However, although Sarah’s parents were shocked and hurt, they still rallied around her and helped her through that very difficult time of her life.
Malachi Jakes went to Rock Canyon High School, where he obtained his high school leaving diploma, and his artistic nature pushed him to enroll at the Colorado School of Acting in 2017, where he attended an Advanced Film Acting Diploma Course to hone his budding acting talent. He also enrolled at the AMDA College and Conservatory for Performing Arts, and in 2020 he took Six-week Acting Conservatory course with The Barrow Group in New York.
Malachi is also a singer, and he recently put out an advert where he was looking for other black African-American musicians to come to join him to form a band to make very good music. Not much information is available about Malachi’s love life as we do not know who he is currently dating or if his sole attention is on his career right now.

Isaiah Roberts is the only male adopted child of Sarah Jakes’s children, and he is the only male child that the union between Sarah’s current husband and his ex-wife produced. He was born on October 30, 2002, in the United States of America, and he is currently 21 years old. Information about his early childhood and educational background is very scarce, but we do know that he has a very shy but artistic side.
He stated that though he loves music and singing – having simply described himself as an Artist, he has always been afraid to share his brand of music with the whole world. His stage name is simply given as Zaye. He participates in a podcast show with his other siblings, where they share their personal experiences about any topic that they are currently discussing. Isaiah seems to have a very endearing persona and personality and does know how to dress for the occasion. In fact, some of his fans have even suggested that he takes up a modeling career because of his certain facial and stud-like appearance.
Isaiah seems to have a very soft spot in her stepmother’s heart as she took to her Instagram handle to share the information that their ride to middle school and the conversations they had in the car were some of the very first things that helped her settle down in Los Angeles. Makenzie Henson

Makenzie Henson is the second biological child of Sarah Jakes’s children, and she was born on August 14, 2009, somewhere in the United States of America. She is currently 14 years old. She was the first and only child that came out of her mother’s first marriage to Robert Henson – a former football player who played as a linebacker for the Washington Redskins.
Sarah got married to Robert sometime in 2008, and they had Makenzie a year later. She filed for divorce from her father after 4 years of being together – and some believed that her husband was unfaithful to her during their union.
Makenzie Henson is currently in junior high school as her mother posted her picture on her Instagram handle on her first day in Grade 8, and by her age, she may still be in the 8th grade or may have moved on to higher grade in high school. Ella was born on February 10, 2016, either in Denver or Los Angeles, California, where her parent’s ministry is based.
Ella is currently 7 years old and should be in preschool at the moment. She is her mother’s baby, and she appears in some of the pictures and videos that she regularly shares on her Social Media pages.
Ella’s parents are full-time Christians and preachers who have both authored a few books, and they move around to speak to a large congregation of children and young adults – as is their current mission in life. Anywhere that her parents go, Ella may not be too far behind.
