The multi-talented instrumentalist, Gabi Wilson is an up and coming singer-songwriter who began making the headlines of many media news outlets across the globe at just the age of 5. She is a child prodigy who became known as America’s most talented kid as a result of her amazing display on The View during when she performed on Alicia Keys‘ song – ‘If Ain’t Got You’ at the age of 11. Who is Gabi Wilson?

The child star who has already laid the foundation for a stellar music career was born in Vallejo, California, United States on 27th June 1997 to her parents, Kenny and Agnes Wilson. Gabi Wilson started attaining public recognition following her various performances on shows like Good Morning America and The Maury Povich Show at the age of five. She also sang the National Anthem at a basketball game of Los Angeles Lakers during such time. Four years later, she made her first movie appearance in the Nick Cannon-directed movie, School Gyrls. She then followed it up by putting up an outstanding performance on The View which gained her nationwide fame when she was just 11 years old. The pretty songster then attained worldwide fame in the next two years following her on-stage display at the BET Awards held in 2010 which captured the attention of a wide audience.

After inking a record deal with Sony Music in 2011, Gabi Wilson moved on to release her single titled, ‘Something To Prove’ three years later. In 2016, she dropped her first extended play, ‘H. E. R Vol. 1’ under a new public image as H. E. R. The EP was a critical success as it gained more than 65 million times streaming across the globe with one of the tracks, ‘Focus’ clinching the No. 1 spot on the US Adult R&B chart as well as gaining nominations in several award shows.

In the next year, Wilson dropped her second extended play titled, ‘H. E. R Vol. 2’ that was followed by the release of ‘H. E. R Vol. 2 The B Sides’ in that same year, which clinched the No. 7 and 19 spots on the US R&B chart respectively. Later in August 2018, she dropped another extended play, ‘I Used to Know HER: The Prelude’, followed by the release of ‘I Used To Know HER: Part 2’ in November 2018.

Gabi Wilson has also collaborated with some music artists like Ella Mai, Bryson Tiller, Daniel Caesar, Chris Brown and Ed Sheeran, with most of her featured songs claiming nominations and awards. Furthermore, she has been on series of musical tours including the Set It Off tour with Bryson Tiller and also the I Used to Know HER tour. She has begun working on the release of her first music album of which she had already dropped the prelude.
