Lilian Esoro may have had a successful career in acting, and as an entrepreneur, but the same could not be said about her marriage. In 2015, she got engaged and married her then-lover, Ubi Franklin Ofem, an entrepreneur, public speaker, business coach, and the founder of Made Men Music Group (Triple MG). They had a son together and after being married for a year, the couple got separated and were later divorced in 2021.

Very little information is known on how or where they met, however, the couple affirmed that they met sometime in January 2015. In a separate interview he granted the media, Ubi Franklin had said he told Lilian on the first day he saw her that he was going to get married to her.

Ubi Franklin’s prophesy to Lilian about marrying her eventually came to be as the two got married in a flamboyant manner on the 1st of November 2015. Their wedding was the topic of gossip blogs as high-powered individuals from the entertainment industry attended the ceremony to celebrate with the couples and wish them well.

Lilian Esoro Has a Son From Her Marriage to Ubi Franklin

Everything about Lilian’s marriage to Franklin seemed to be perfect as they shared happy moments of their marital bliss on social media. The marriage was blessed with a baby boy whom Lilian traveled to the United States of America to birth. Although it seemed to be an enviable union, it wasn’t the case for the couple.

A few months after the birth of their son, Jayden, Lilian and Franklin got separated with Lilian having custody of the child. Both Lilian and Franklin’s request for divorce in court were denied, with the Judge of the second suit advising the couple to go and settle their differences.

Lilian and her then estranged husband co-parented their son and cared for him while living apart from each other. Living separately didn’t seem to stop both of them from showering the child with love and care. They often take time to share pictures of them together celebrating his birthday, a move that made followers and fans ignite rumors of the couple coming back together.

Five years after living separately, the disgruntled couple won the battle to officially put an end to their union. The union was dissolved on the 28th of January 2021 by an Abuja high court on the grounds of “unreconcilable differences”.
