Seyi Tinubu Has Left His Law Certificate to Fully Delve into Business

Seyi Tinubu has excelled in life, acquiring a decent amount of wealth for himself. He studied Law at the university but after that developed a passion for helping businesses get maximum exposure through outdoor and digital advertising. He went on to establish an advertising company known as Loatsad Promomedia. Founded in 2014 with his friend Adenrele Olusoga, Loatsad is a media company that offers world-class promotion services to its clients.

The company is one of the few licensed advertising companies in Lagos and has grown to become one of the most sought-after advertising agencies in the country. Seyi’s sound legal acumen combined with his entrepreneurial skills gave him an edge over other ad companies, thereby making him the most in-demand. In 2019, he acquired another advertising company known as E-motion Advertising Company.

In Loatsad, they offer both outdoor and digital advertising. The outdoor advertising involves publicizing for clients via bridge panels, flex banners, and LED boards activation/events, lamp posts, and inflatables. While digital advertising makes use of geo-targeting technology to reach the clients’ target audience by posting clients’ ads at appropriate locations that are most essential according to the brand.

Also, in a bid to improve the economic situation of Nigeria, Seyi Tinubu launched the Noella Foundation in 2018, an empowerment project with the aim of creating jobs and supporting new businesses with seed funding and skill acquisition. It focuses on nation-building wherein it makes provision of mentorship and networking opportunities for new business owners with access to pioneers in the same tech space. In addition, he has a few other non-governmental organizations he coordinates, including TELD NGO and Youth Musical Fiesta, all focusing on providing a better life to the underprivileged and youths in Nigeria.

Seyi’s Views Against Following His Father’s Political Route

It was said that Seyi’s late brother Bolajide would have been the one to carry forward their father’s political dream as Seyi does not show any interest in politics but is only concerned with business. Sometime in the past, there was word on the street that said Bola Tinubu appointed his son Seyi as the financial consultant of all the local governments in Lagos State. Also, a group identified as Free Lagos Movement posited that Seyi was being prepared by his father to become the governor of Lagos State in 2023. However, all these turned out to be mere rumors as no actions were seen to back it up.

Meanwhile, Seyi Tinubu has categorically made it known in one of his interviews that he is not interested in politics but wanted to do something different that would improve Nigeria as a whole, especially economic-wise. Actually, the joy and wish of every successful father is for his child to take after him, but Seyi has chosen to make his father proud in a different way. His decision not to follow his father’s footsteps in politics has raised a lot of questions about where exactly his legacy would be left on. However, there is still no guarantee that he will not, later on, delve into politics as his father never joined politics until he was 40.
