The young chap was born on the 3rd of April 1995 in Frankfort, Indiana. He lived in Davidson, North Carolina, with his parents and later attended a private high school, called Davidson Day school. Grier’s football career picked up in his high school, he made his initial breakout by erasing the previously existing record of 764 yards by throwing a national record of 837 yards. Will Grier had 4,989 passing yards with a nation-leading and held the North Carolina record of 77 touchdowns. The football star throughout his high school football racked up a total of 14,565 passing yards, 2,955 rushing yards, 195 touchdown passes, and 31 rushing touchdowns. After one season playing for the Gators, he recorded 10 touchdowns, 160 passes for 1202 passing yards while rushing 36 for 116 rush yards with two touchdowns all in 6 games played.

He missed a year as a result of NCCA transfer rule to join the West Virginia University Football team, where he continued his amazing timely productions on the pitch. He ended his two seasons with a total of 945 passes for 8556 passing yards and 81 touchdowns while he rushed 147 for 328 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns while intercepting 23 plays.

With his large scale of production in the varsity, it was not surprising when he was picked as the Big 12 Offensive Player, Big 12 Offensive Newcomer, and the second team All-Big 12. He was later nominated for various awards such as the Davey O’Brien, Maxwell, Walter Camp, and Senior Class Award among others.

Will Grier was among the players invited in the 2018 Camping World Bowl championship, however, he ditched it in order to effectively prepare for the 2019 NFL Draft.

The couple had their first child, a daughter named Eloise Marie Grier in 2016 shortly after their wedding.
