  2. When you are on the login page, enter your index number (e.g. 12340960343) in the space for User Name. If you are using it for the first time, your User ID would be your student number, and your password would be National ID. You can always change this once you are logged in.
  3. Enter your password.
  4. Select the on ‘Log in’ button to gain access to your student page and when you are logged in successfully, you will be directed to the homepage.
  5. You can proceed by clicking on the items that are shown on the homepage, according to the tasks you wish to perform.

However, if you are yet to obtain your UPSAmail account you will have to so before trying to log in on the student portal. To get that done follow the steps below:

  1. Ensure that your course registration for the semester is completed.
  2. Once that is done, you will be given a UPSAmail account.
  3. Activate your UPSAmail by changing your UPSAmail password (default) to a secure password that you choose. However, ensure that this password is such that it can not be easily compromised.
  4.  Set up the password recovery using your Mobile Phone Number, so you can always get it back easily.
