Julie Patricia Landrum was born on February 24, 1983, in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA. Julie was born into the family of Terry and Teresa Landrum and also has an older sister called Melissa. While her mother is caucasian, her father is of African American descent.

She was dating Larry Hughes, who is a former Cleveland Cavaliers player. That relationship went down the drain when she discovered he was a married man. Due to that debacle, Julie Pierce was already introduced to the world of the NBA. It was then that she went on to meet her current husband, Paul Pierce, and theirs was a whirlwind romance.

Paul actually gave the scoop on this topic, apparently, the couple had been dating since 2005. He divulged the information back in 2008 while in a Q&A session with Boston.com. He went on to say that they met shortly after the NBA’s 2005 All-Star Weekend, at the time he was playing for the Boston Celtics. They shared an instant connection and became friends quite fast. The friendship progressed quite rapidly and before they knew it, they were living together. According to Paul, the two clicked and bonded instantly.

In July 2010, they made it official and exchanged vows in front of friends and family at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, California. They have three children together – Prianna Lee Pierce, Adrian Tanya Pierce, and Prince Paul Pierce.
