Ever since the announcement of Donald John Trump as the president-elect of the United States, over 11,000 protesters have been demonstrating all across America.
Not even the concession speech of Hillary Clinton which urged her supporters, to give the President-elect an open mind and a chance to lead, worked on the protests.
The fear of the minorities cum protesters were Donald Trump’s view against the LGBT concept, abortion, Muslims and immigration. Americans who feel threatened by Trump have been demonstrating for days now in various American Cities.
Trump commented a couple of times on the protest on his Twitter handle. First he thought the Pro-Hillary team protest was fair enough; and later he accused the media of manipulating the protests and called it unfair.
With some clashes that have taken place between Trump and Hillary supporters, it has become a sensitive matter for Trump who will soon be the President in no distant time.
Perhaps in the bid to quell the agitation, Trump has appeared to be mellowing down on some of his tough campaign promises.
Report says that surprisingly, Donald Trump who opposes the LGBT concept has said that he was fine with same-sex marriage. He says it is a settled law in the supreme court.
“It’s law. It was settled in the Supreme Court. I mean it’s done.”
“These cases have gone to the Supreme Court. They’ve been settled. And I’m – I’m fine with that.”
During his campaign, Donald John Trump did not mince words when he suggested the overturn of Roe v. Wade decision on planned parenthood, saying his judges will be pro-life. Recently Trump has said this:
“If it ever were overturned, it would go back to the states.”
In other words, on demand abortion for women will be a matter of going to another State to have the procedure done.
To his supporters who equally have aggressive tendencies, Trump has urged them to stop the violence.
