Christopher Lee Kattan was born on the 19th of October 1970 in Sherman Oaks, California. He spent a greater part of his childhood in Mount San Antonio, near Los Angeles before moving to Bainbridge Island, Washington. He completed his high school education at Bainbridge High School and graduated in 1989. Upon graduating from high school, Chris Kattan relocated to L.A. to pursue his comedy career. In L.A., he joined several sketches and improvisational comedy groups such as The Groundlings. He also landed minor TV roles, all of which he used to hone his comic skills.
