Fame is contagious in many ways, and this has been proven in the lives of many people who went from living very ordinary existences to becoming famous overnight for being within the circle of one or two famous people. There are many ways to become part of a famous person’s circle and one of these ways is by marriage, which is how Rebecca Liddicoat came to be known. Rebecca Liddicoat Bio
In Boulder, Colorado, Rebecca Liddicoat was born on the 13th of August in 1988. Her parents are Laura Liddicoat and Edward Liddicoat. Rebecca is the second child as she has an elder sister called Lindsey.
Before her marriage and short-lived fame, Liddicoat lived a very quiet life and as a result of this, all that is known about her parents and sister is limited to their names.
Liddicoat majored in Biology at Baylor University which is where she met her husband; who was her springboard to fame. In 2010, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the university, while there, she was a member of the CHI Service Club and eventually the president.
Ex-Spouse – Robert Griffin III (RG3)
Liddicoat in 2009, a year before her graduation was introduced by someone who was a mutual friend to Robert Griffin III- who was to become her husband. A student at Baylor University, Robert Griffin III played for the school’s football team. No sparks flew the first time they met, Rebecca felt he was strange and Griffin was still hurting over a failed relationship but the two decided to give the other a chance regardless.
They started to date that same year, the relationship lasted for a period of one year. In 2010 he proposed to her. He pulled off the proposal with assistance from his mother and younger sisters and in August of 2013, they tied the knot at a Four Seasons close to Liddicoat’s home. The wedding was attended by some high profile people in society as well as some of Griffin’s teammates.
When Liddicoat met Robert Griffin he was a rising football star who had started to play the game while in high school. He was born in Japan in 1990 on the 12th of February to Robert and Jacqueline Griffin who were sergeants in the U.S. Army and as at the time of his birth they were on military duty in Japan. He had a good career in football while in high school and chose to attend Baylor University as they had a great football program.
Liddicoat took Griffin’s last name after they got married, however, she had to revert back to her name in 2016 as they separated in 2016 in the same month they got married and got divorced in September of the same year. It is not certain who filed for divorce as neither party came out to say why the divorce happened in the first place.

However, it is safe to assume that the divorce happened on the grounds of infidelity. Griffin started to date Grete Sadeiko; a fellow athlete, in the same month he and Rebecca separated. Griffin stated irreconcilable differences as the reason for the break-up, which is a strange way to spell infidelity. Griffin married his girlfriend in 2018 after the two had a daughter in the previous year.
Rebecca Liddicoat’s Daughter
A couple of years after Liddicoat and Griffin got married, they welcomed to the world their child. Reese Ann Griffin was born on the 21st of May in 2015, her parents divorced a year after her birth and she has been in the care of her mother ever since.
As a result of the circumstances that surrounded their break up, Liddicoat has refused to let Griffin see their daughter as much as he would like to and is choosing to grant him very limited contact to Reese.
This occurred after she had taken Griffin to court on the grounds of not paying the complete divorce settlements as agreed during the divorce proceedings in court and disabling her credit cards when he has knowledge of her lack of a job and would need money to care for their daughter.
