Popularly known as the wife of the esteemed television and radio personality, Carson Daly, Siri Pinter is not just a celebrity spouse but a blogger, writer, and producer who has achieved quite a lot on her own. Like her husband, she has garnered much popularity as a television personality, gracing several TV shows such as The Kitchen and Rachael Ray. Pinter has carried out some production works, having served as the associate producer of the television special, New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly which her husband serves as the host and airs on new year’s eve annually on NBC. She has also appeared on NBC’s Today show, serving as a contributor to its food-related segments.
Although Pinter is a star in her own rights, there are those who still get to keep her in the shadows of her more famous spouse. Either way, the couple have been together for more than 13 years, and have been married for more than 5 years.
Siri Pinter and Carson Daly First Met on the Set of His Late Night Talk Show
Three years after Carson Daly started hosting his late-night show on NBC, Siri Pinter joined as a writer’s assistant in 2005. Carson was instantly smitten by her, so much that each time she got into their meetings, he would look at the other guys in the room, wondering if he was the only one seeing what he was seeing because she was so attractive.
More so, she was not an actress, which made her good for him to date as he had initially made up his mind that he was not going to date an actress again. This came after he broke off his engagement with his ex Tara Reid in 2001. His decision was simply because he believed he had more in common with regular people than he had with celebrities. This is quite surprising because his mother, Pattie Daly Caruso, was an actress, writer, and director. She featured in the movie, Do It or Die and worked as the writer and director of the TV series, Valley Views.
It didn’t take Siri and Daly too long before they found out they were attracted to each other and they started dating. Initially, they kept the romance secret, but that did not last long, having realized that what they had was more than just office romance. He stated that he was always working so it was normal for him to fall in love in the work environment even though people make it seem like it’s a bad thing.
Before meeting Siri Pinter, Carson Daly had relationships with movie stars like the aforementioned Tara Reid and Jennifer Love Hewitt. As stated, he even got engaged to Reid in 2001 after they had dated for only a year.
On her part, Siri’s love life has not been recorded prior to her meeting the man who later became her husband.
Siri Married Carson After They Had Already Welcomed Three Kids
By 2013, after having dated for many years, Siri Pinter and Carson Daly got engaged. This was, however, after they had two adorable kids; Jackson James Daly who was born in 2009, and Etta Jones Daly who was born in 2012. Siri resigned from her work as a writer’s assistant after giving birth to her first child.
Even though their relationship was serious and healthy, the couple never felt the pressure to get married. For a very long time, rumors continued to emerge that they had tied the knot, but the duo kept dousing it, insisting they would get married at the right time. Their third child, London Rose Daly, was born in 2014, while they were still engaged.
The right time for the marriage finally came in 2015, a decade after they started dating. The surprise wedding which happened in December was attended by close family members and friends. Their first son Jackson had the honor of walking his mother down the aisle.
A Closer Look at Her Kids and How She Manages Home and Work
After their marriage, Carson Daly and Siri Pinter did not have any more kids until 2020 when she gave birth to their fourth child, a daughter named Goldie Patricia Daly who was born on March 26. Daly took to his social media to announce the birth of their bundle of joy.
For now, all their kids are still too young to forge any career paths, and although their parents continue to share their pictures on social media, they have not revealed so much about them.
With that said, Siri manages her home well with the assistance of her husband. Both parents are quite busy, but not too busy for their kids and family life, which has helped their relationship to survive for so long a time.
Siri Pinter Has a Career in the Showbiz Industry as a Producer
Siri Pinter seemed to have a natural inclination towards showbiz even before she acquired her basic education from a Los-Angeles based high school. This is judging by the fact that her father, Mark Pinter, is an actor widely known for his multiple roles in daytime soap operas like Guiding Light and As the World Turns among others. He has further starred in movies such as Charlie’s Angels, Behind the Screen, and his television credits include Law & Order: Criminal Intent, General Hospital, Loving, All My Children, and others.
But even though she did not follow in the same path, Siri began her quiet career in the 2000s when she began working as an assistant to the producers of the Golden Globe-winning TV series, Frasier. In 2005, she served as a production staff in ten episodes of the comedy-romance television series, Committed. She further served as the production assistant of the TV movie, Nobody’s Watching.
In addition, Siri Pinter assisted the writers of the reality TV series, Last Comic Standing, and equally carried out the same role for the NBC late-night television program, the Last Call with Carson Daly which had its last episode aired on May 24, 2019.
