Travis Scott was born and named Jacques Berman Webster II on April 30, 1992, in Houston, Texas. He would adopt Travis Scott as his professional name. Travis spent most of his early age living with his grandmother in Missouri City, the outskirts of Southwest Houston.
He would later join his father in suburbs, where the latter stayed to run his business, and there, Scott schooled at Elkins High School and would finish at age of seventeen. He enrolled in University of Texas, San Antonio but could not graduate as he dropped out to pursue his dream of being a musician. His decision of abandoning education for music riled his parents thus, leading to a strained relationship between them and Travis.
Turning his pains to gains, Travis left for New York where he worked closely with his longtime friend, Chris Holloway, they formed The Graduates, they released their untitled first EP on Myspace website in 2008. He teamed with Scott and OG Chess to form a group The Classmates through which they did two projects in 2009 and 2010 but the group separated in 2012 due to irreconcilable differences.

He released his mixtape titled Owl Pharaoh in 2013 which was followed by his second mixtape titled Days Before Rodeo which he released in 2014. In September 2015, Travis released his first studio album titled Rodeo. The hit single titled Antidote reached the top 20 of the US Billboard Hot 100 chat.
In 2016, he released a single Goosebumps and his second album titled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. The album instantly made its way to the No.1 spot on the Billboard Charts while the single is not doing badly in the billboards either. He also collaborated with Quavo Marshall in forming a group and on 3rd August 2018, they released a collaborated album titled Huncho Jack.
